Details of Bob Evans Memorial Scholarship
The scholarship is open to any children or siblings of all current NAAA operator and/or pilot members.
Those eligible must be enrolled, or scheduled for enrollment, in any accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate program during the 2009 / 2010 and/or 2010 / 2011 school year. Freshmen entering in the Fall of 2010 are eligible, as are seniors graduating in 2010.
The subject for this year is:
“The story of (Name Here) in Agricultural Aviation”. The individual the scholarship candidate is to write about can be a pilot, an operator, an aircraft manufacturer, aircraft salesman, A & P Mechanic, etc., just as long as the individual being written about is, or has been, involved in Agricultural Aviation. The individual can still be living, or deceased. The scholarship candidate can write about him/herself. You can write about a hero, or a scoundrel! Write about whomever you find interesting.
The intent of the scholarship is to encourage research into the subject individual’s current and/or historic involvement in Ag Aviation, as well as to encourage the scholarship candidate’s writing and story development ability. Essays must be between 500 and 1,000 words. Essays failing to meet this requirement will be disqualified.

Essays must be postmarked on or before 8-31-10, or e-mailed to:

The scholarship award winner will be posted on www.epickett.com by 10-15-10. The writer of the winning essay will receive $500.
